The Nassars are a Christian family whose farm is surrounded by Israeli Settlements. Although they live under constant threats that their land will be confiscated, they strive to maintain a haven of peace through their work with the Tent of Nations Project. The farm has become a center for peace and education. Visitors from all over the world, including many Israelis, come to discuss peace strategies, learn organic farming, teach at the Womenʼs Education Center, and lead activities during Youth Summer Camps. At their front gate, a sign reads in three languages, "We Refuse to be Enemies."

For
Email Newsletters you can trust
Talk to the Board! The Board of Trustees has two new mailboxes to expand opportunities to hear from the congregation. The first is an e-mail address at board@cedarlane.org. The second is a mailbox among those in the office’s reception area. Whether via the Internet or in writing, the Board would love to hear from you. Of course, nothing replaces a conversation, so please stop by the reception desk after either Sunday service. A Board member is there to help with various activities, and to make it easy to find a trustee. A new way to find a Board member on Sunday morning is to look for a name badge printed on bright blue paper.
