Welcome, NewcomersAre you interested in learning more about our church, its heritage, worship services, classes and activities? "Newcomer Talks" is a series of informal orientations in which the church and Unitarian Universalism are examined in more detail. Whether you wish to join Cedar Lane Unitarian Universalist Church (CLUUC) or not, you are most welcome to attend! The talks are held after each service on the first, third, fourth, and sometimes fifth Sundays of each month. Roger Fritts, our Senior Minister, will discuss the history of Unitarian Universalism; Susan Archer, Minister of Religious Education, will give an overview of lifespan religious education; and Heather Janules, our Assistant Minister, will discuss Unitarian Universalist Spirituality. Each talk lasts about 30 minutes, including time to get acquainted and ask questions. Questions? Please contact Kristin Grassel, Membership Coordinator, at kgrassel@cedarlane.org, or 301-493-8300 ext. 205. All talks will take place in the library unless otherwise noted in the Order of Service. Talks will directly follow each service, at 10 a.m. and 12 noon.
