Nancy Pellegrini is the intern minister and will be at Cedar Lane until May 15, 2012. She is currently a candidate for Unitarian Universalist ministry and is completing her Master of Divinity Degree at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington DC. She graduated from Dartmouth College and then went on for master’s degrees in international relations from the London School of Economics and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts. Evolving from her commitment to nuclear arms control, she had a 20 year career at the Central Intelligence Agency as a military analyst. She decided to pursue a second career in the ministry because she believes in the church as a community where people support each other, take time for spiritual renewal, and work together to achieve social justice. Nancy originally hails from Winnetka, IL. She and her husband Vin live in Severna Park, Maryland. He is an orthopaedic surgeon and chairman of the department of orthopaedics at the University of Maryland. They have five daughters between them ranging in age from 22 to 29, so there is never a dull moment.
