Yoga in a beautiful setting and an accommodating environment where you’re encouraged to choose your level of challenge. Yoga @ Cedar Lane promotes mindfulness and improves flexibility and strength. Beginners are most welcome - if you are a member of the church or not. Modifications and chairs are available to help you find your own yoga practice. Classes are in the Chalice House with ample parking.

Kathleen has been teaching yoga for thirteen years and practicing for many more. In 2004, she completed the nationally-recognized Integrative Yoga Therapy teacher training and regularly takes continuing education courses. She believes yoga helps us cope with adversity and brings greater appreciation for and understanding of daily life. Classes offer guided meditations around a weekly theme aimed at relieving stress and elevating your mood. Rebecca has been teaching Hatha yoga for over ten years, drawing inspiration from the practice to become a Physical Therapy Assistant. She believes yoga is for everyone and provides practice modifications for individual bodies. This class welcomes all ages 2 -102 for a shared yoga practice. Classes will include a sequence of poses, with modifications for all ages and abilities, partner poses for big and little pairs, breathing and mindfulness exercises and games, as well as time for deep relaxation. Come join us for a playful, fun approach to yoga and practice finding peace amidst the lightness that comes with children. Mats provided (or bring your own). Kathleen Thomas believes that yoga is a complete system of therapy designed to bring us closer to becoming and living as we are meant to be. She informs her 45 years of yoga teaching with her experience as an RN, massage therapist, and acupuncturist. Her coed classes are for students with some previous experience with basic yoga postures who want to deepen their mind-body awareness. Breathing and meditation practices are included.
