Hate crimes are on the rise nationally, and our region is no exception. Have you seen an incident of hate and not known what to do?

Come to the active bystander intervention training to learn about how to stand up for your neighbors who are facing threats and practice de-escalation techniques.

This is an opportunity to learn how to support marginalized people who are being harassed. A facilitator leads participants through role-play scenarios. These scenarios include supporting a woman in a hijab, a transgendered person, and a Person of Color undergoing harassment.

This is a workshop facilitated by Jim Huang of Showing Up for Racial Justice Montgomery County.
