Explore ways to offer grounded solidarity without reproducing oppressive practices by joining Changing Systems, Changing Ourselves: Anti-Racist Practice for Sanctuary, Accompaniment, and Resistance. This NEW eCourse starts at Cedar Lane on Tuesday, January 28 and supports our social justice commitment to Immigrant Justice.

About the eCourse:

  • This national FREE interactive eCourse will support us as individuals and groups to learn, reflect, and act more deeply together for social change.
  • It is appropriate for both newcomers and experienced participants in immigrant justice action and course participants in its highly rated 2018 test offering which is now updated and refined.
  • Topics will include anti-Blackness and immigrant justice, criminalization and the place of immigration detention in the prison industrial complex, and on-the-ground case studies of accompaniment as anti-racist practice.
  • There will also be caucus spaces for white participants and participants of color.

Members in our partner congregations are encouraged to join Cedar Laners in this course.
