We warmly welcome you to join us for Christmas Eve this year!
We will have three Christmas Eve services at 4, 6 and 10 pm.
- 4 pm: Our early Christmas service is designed especially for families with young children-as well as the "young at heart" of all ages! This year features “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” The Children’s Choir will sing Christmas favorites.
- 6 pm: This service is designed for families, including families with older children and youth. The Cedar Lane Youth Choir and pianist Susan Easterly will offer Michael Bomier’s Name That Child and the popular song Put A Little Love In Your Heart.
- 10 pm: A beautiful candlelight service of music, readings, prayer, and reflection. The Cedar Lane Choir, soloists, organist Dr. Jasmin Lee and the chamber ensemble will sing J. S. Bach’s Cantata #142: For Unto Us a Child Is Born. Additional music will include David Schelat’s Before the Dawn of Time for choir and organ, Catherine Dalton’s Sweet Radiant Mystery and Ivo Antognini’s poignant Latin setting of O Magnum Mysterium. Dr. Lee and the chamber orchestra will accompany the congregation in several favorite carols.
