The Cedar Lane UU Immigration Justice Ministry is pleased to present: New Voices for Immigrants: two award winning short films - KIKO dramatizes the plight of Maria, a young single mother and undocumented worker caught in an ICE raid and deported without her young daughter; DACAmented captures the hopes and inspiration of nine Dreamers, including one who is the primary caregiver for his young sister with Down's Syndrome.

These films are shown at Cedar Lane compliments of the Washington DC annual Immigrant Film Festival (IFF). The films are part of the IFF’s official selection for 2018. For more information on upcoming IFF, please visit immigrationfilmfest.org.
