For Cedar Lane's first People of Color & Indigenous (POCI) Speak Out & Lunch of the 2019-2020 church year, we will engage with the topic of migration, a hot-button topic, but also one that directly touches at the core of Cedar Lane, as Cedar Lane is a committed sanctuary congregation, who currently has sanctuary guest Sra. Rosa Guiterrez Lopez in residence.

Our Speak Out will be facilitated by Dr. Keith Dublin, former national of Guyana. Mr. Dublin, has a BA in Economics from the University of Manchester (UK) and a Masters and PhD from the University of Illinois (USA).  Read his full bio here.

The presentation will offer an economistʼs insights into the dynamic relationship between migration and money and will hopefully spark us to examine our assumptions about things that matter in an increasingly globalized world.

All are welcome - please join us!

Sponsored by Cedar Lane's People of Color and Indigenous Group. Lunch details TBA.
