Next April, our sibling congregation All Souls Church, Unitarian in Washington DC will host a national gathering of religious progressives and activists called Revolutionary Love 2020. Sponsored by the Middle Collegiate Church in Manhattan, the Revolutionary Love Conference has for thirteen years served as an annual opportunity for religious progressives to gather and mobilize.
The conference theme is "Toward a More Perfect Union," and will focus on critical issues facing our democracy, especially environmental justice, racial justice, gender justice, voting rights, voter participation, interfaith activism, and more.
The list of inspiring speakers for the conference includes The Rev. Dr. William Barber of the Poor People's Campaign; Muslim activist and Women's March organizer Linda Sarsour; Sikh activist Valerie Kaur; civil rights icon Ruby Sales; Buddhist teacher and activist angel Kyodo williams; with more to come.
