Cedar Lane's Science and Religion group has been meeting at Cedar Lane weekly for nearly 50 years and welcomes newcomers at any time.

In June and July, we will be presenting a series of DVDs from 10-11 am and discussion (11 am to noon) called Long Strange Trip: UU History. This series presents in detail the history of Unitarian and Universalist thought from the beginning of the Christian era to what we know today as Unitarian Universalism. It takes us to many places around the world where the movement and its progenitors were active, organizing, and persecuted. It brings us to the U.S. in the 1700s and profiles the movements and promoters of UUism in the states. The presentation covers the melding of the two philosophies and the present day Unitarian Universalist organization.

All are welcome. Come out and learn things you never suspected about UUism. Coffee provided.
