Yoga in a beautiful setting and an accommodating environmentwhere you’re encouraged to choose your level of challenge. Yoga @ Cedar Lane promotes mindfulness and improves flexibility and strength. Beginners are most welcome. Modifications and chairs are available to help you find your own yoga practice. Rebecca has been teaching Hatha yoga for over ten years, drawing inspiration from thepractice to become a Physical Therapy Assistant. She believes yoga is for everyone and provides practice modifications for individual bodies. She uses her experience inphysical therapy to focus on posture, lower back stability and safety, and static anddynamic balance. She works at an outpatient clinic and assisted living facility. Classes are in the Chalice House, just north of the church, with ample parking. Mats, ties, blocks, blankets, knee cushions, and chairs are provided. Class movements include sitting cross-legged and going from kneeling to standing.
