Welcome to Cedar Lane, a place where you will be welcomed regardless of your age, religion, race, gender, sexual orientation, or socio-economic status. A place where you can grow spiritually, morally, and intellectually. A religious community where your children will grow up to be spiritually grounded, emotionally mature, socially involved world citizens. A place whose spiritual tradition teaches that everyone has inherent worth and dignity - no exceptions.
How can you tell whether Cedar Lane is the right place for you? Visit us on a Sunday morning. Attend our worship service. Join us for coffee after the service. Meet with the ministers. Ask a lot of questions. Join a Soul Matters Small Group. Sign-up to receive our eNews. Better yet, visit several times and really get to know us. We may be the spiritual home you have been searching for all along.
EXPLORE OUR Newcomers MINISTRIES
1st Sundays at 12:30 pm in the Library (May, September, November 2018). For those who would like to learn more about Unitarian Universalism and its rich and varied history. We will explore what it means to be a "non-creedal religion" and will examine in more detail the guiding principles of our faith. You don’t have to be a newcomer to join us. No matter how long you have been with us, you are welcome to enjoy this series and develop stronger connections with others at Cedar Lane.
Join us in the Library for our New Member Orientation after the second worship service to learn more about Cedar Lane and meet other people who are new here.
Join us for a New Member Recognition on Sunday, April 29, during our services (9 &11 am). This short celebration invites those of you who have recently signed the membership book or are ready to sign the book, to come before the congregation during worship and share a responsive reading with the congregation as we officially invite you into the community. If you are interested, please email Sara Davidson, Director of Communications & Membership Engagement, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cedar Lane centers our worship life on a timeless spiritual theme each month (e.g. Intention or Perseverance.) Part of our thematic ministry includes our Soul Matters Sharing Circles. Participants gather monthly for opening/closing words, personal check-in, and engagement with the monthly theme. These groups are a great way to connect with other members of Cedar Lane, whether you're a newcomer or a long-time member. Sign-up here: http://bit.ly/SharingCircles2018.
